Little Mistakes of Life

I made the mistake for last Christmas of getting everyone I know a bread box. When I was asked what it would be compared to in terms of size, you can bet I was at a loss for words...

I wonder if the chameleon ever looks at modern camouflage and mocks us...
And who ever thought that Camo looked good on people that aren't being shot at...?

Davis-osophy

Here is a new segment I like to call- Davis-Osophy.
This is where we explore the profound wisdom and intrigue of the guy who created this blog- Usually the ending purpose or reason behind these thoughts is to reach world peace. Who knows, maybe one day someone will see my point...I digress...

January 12th 2013- I realized that edible crayons would be the greatest thing in the world. Imagine all those delicious colors (or colours if you want to get technical). You can draw a peach and then eat the peach flavored crayon you just used to draw the peach. One step closer to world peace.

(Ironically this thought came while I was trying to use jelly beans to make a mural on an old shoe box- arts and crafts not only keep you sane but wake you up to the world around you)

Here's a thought...#19

Did you know- the film Titanic cost more than the actual Ship? And I think we all know why Mr. DeCaprio

It's Been A While...

I apologize that I have not written in a while- so I feel like we could all use another
Top Ten List!
And for today.... The Top Ten Songs You Are Embarrassed that you like!
Ah yes, the songs that you leave unlabeled on your Ipod so that everyone at the gym sees you are listening to "track 09" instead of "Call me, Maybe" by Carly Ray Jepson.
Now some of you reading this think "Well, I'm proud of he music I listen to..." Well, I believe you, but let's just read this list and see how we react.

10. Party in the U.S.A. by Miley Cyrus. Currently under "various artists on my Ipod"- You still have it, You still listen to it, and you still haven't gotten around to deleting it. And most of all you still haven't had time to ask why? Admit it, it has earned a permanent place on your "driving mix".

9. Girlfriend  by Avril Lavigne- Sadly, your sixth grade self can't let you let go. Perhaps you still sing the lyrics just so you'll have it memorized incase you have a bad break up. Perhaps.

8. Hero by Enrique Iglesias- I think the whisper in the first 5 seconds says it all. No, you can't be my hero

7. Whistle by Flo Rida- If anything by Flo Rider last longer than 11 months on your music listening device, it's a pretty sure sign that something is wrong. Talk with your friends and family and see how you can get help.

6. My Humps by Black Eyed Peas- Not even Fergie owns this song

5. You're Beautiful by James Blunt- He has better music, and you have better things to do with your life than dedicate you heart to some woman on a subway train next to the man she actually loves. Tinder is free you know, but the song is 1.29$ on Itunes.

4. Photograph by Nickleback- This is a personal sin of mine. I'm sorry and apologize to the human race.

3. Anything by Pitbull- (or Nickleback for that matter)

2. Iris by the Goo Goo Dolls- THis one is completely ok to like- this is a fantastic example of a song that if we all just admitted that we like there would be a stronger bond between neighbors and less crime in our cities.

1. Aaron's Party by Aaron Party- please no one admit to having this- I would like to continue being your facebook friend, even though we don't actually talk even when we meet in the frozen food isle.

Thanks for reading. I hope at least one of these songs inspire you to go have a long search for "that one song I used to listen to all the time." Savor the day.
